NHFT is really excited to be recruiting an occupational therapist post in the CAMHS Intensive outreach team, this is a fairly new Service within Northamptonshire, come and join us in developing this new team and enhancing the CQC Outstanding Services we offer.
The CAMHS Intensive Outreach team will offer Intensive Home Treatment for young people across Northamptonshire. The team will be attached to the CAMHS Inpatient provision, offering assessment, risk management and stabilisation. The CAMHS inpatient knowledge and expertise of managing Tier 4 admissions will be utilised to inform the interventions and management strategies. Part of this new role will be to work alongside inpatients.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will manage a defined area of work within the CAMHS inpatients units and IOT alongside.
They will be supervising junior staff members and undertake Occupational Therapy and sensory assessments as needed, using clinical knowledge and skills to carry out a comprehensive assessment of clients. The post holder will analyse and evaluate the information obtained during assessment to develop, implement and monitor Occupational Therapy goals/care plans consistent with good practice. They will continually monitor and evaluate treatment, in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of the intervention., Applications will be transferred to the TRAC system, by completing an application you are giving authorisation for the transfer of your data. In submitting an application form, you authorise us to confirm any previous NHS service details via the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) Inter Authority Transfer (IAT) process. Including factual reference, occupational health clearance and statutory and mandatory training records
