Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Wessex Genomics Laboratory Service (WGLS, Salisbury) for 2 HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist posts to join our dynamic team of genomic scientists. Both posts are permanent and based in the Rare Disease section. Experience in at least some of the following is essential: analysis of WGS and/or NGS panels, microarrays, karyotypes, FISH; variant interpretation (SNV and/or CNV); complex data analysis and reporting. STP/route 2 trainees close to completion of relevant training will also be considered and are encouraged to apply.
The WGLS is a new integrated genomics testing service formed from the amalgamation of Wessex Regional Genetics Laboratory, now WGLS (Salisbury) and Molecular Pathology based at University Hospital Southampton (UHS).
