Full Job Description

Team: Working with the morning Site Supervisor for part of the day (works 6am to 2pm) plus working with cleaning staff, and school staff

Main Duties (to include but are not limited to):

  • Keyholding & Site Security - closing down the school and grounds at the end of each day ensuring the school and grounds are locked, safe, and secure

  • Floor maintenance of the school bistro and corridors

  • Minor maintenance and repairs

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, compulsory checks on items such as fire alarms, emergency lighting, roller shutters, etc

    Experience in site supervision/caretaking or an equivalent trade qualification would be an advantage

  • Full driving license and reliable transport

  • Flexible "can do" approach to meet the needs of the school

  • Ability to work flexibly, independently and as part of a team

  • Basic DIY skills would be an advantage, You can start straight away

  • You have a great attitude and attention to detail

  • Please confirm that you have a current valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (for Child Workforce)

  • Please confirm if you have any school site supervision, school caretaking, or trade skills and experience


  • Experience:
  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

  • Site Supervisor: 1 year (preferred)
