Salesperson

We are looking to expand our sales operation and therefore require more salespeople to facilitate this, so we want to recruit an experienced salesperson to sell new and used motor homes and build on existing business by identifying and selling to existing and new prospects.

You will be based in and selling from the dealership showroom in Derby and selling at the two annual national motorhome events at the NEC each year.

Our salespeople handle telephone and internet enquiries, update the company website and maintain relationships with our clients, and having recently installed a fast network provides full benefits of the latest ways customers can stay in touch.

Detailed knowledge of motor homes is not required, these can easily be learned but a provable and successful history in retail sales is required.

Our successful candidate will be smart and outgoing and eager to become a long-term asset to the business.,

  Salesperson required to sell the UK's leading Motorhome brand, Auto-Sleepers and their sister brand McLouis.


Derby Motorhomes are a long-established motorhome main dealer and we pride ourselves on our sales, service and support offered to our customers.

This position will require some weekend and bank holiday work via a rota system.

Remuneration is by way of a basic salary plus commissions with no upper limit; a mileage allowance is paid for occasions where the use of a private car is required; the company provides the use of a mobile telephone; the successful applicant will be entitled to join the company pension scheme.
