Full Job Description
- Manage daily operations of the optical store, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving customer complaints or issues
- Train and develop staff on product knowledge, customer service, and sales techniques
- Ensure the store is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of new products as necessary
- Track and analyse sales data and adjust strategies accordingly
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and foot traffic
- Monitor and maintain budgets, including payroll and expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as all local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations to ensure all employees are meeting expectations and goals
3-5 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the optical industry - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Knowledge of eyewear products, trends, and styles
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Retail management: 2 years (preferred)

We are looking for our new team member - a Retail Store Manager - who'll be responsible for overall management of the store, staff, merchandise and customer service. The Retail Store Manager is also responsible for achieving sales objectives, maintaining and achieving high operational and merchandising standards and goals, building highly motivated teams and developing associates to the next level.
This position is based out at Eden Square Shopping Center, Urmston, M41 0NA, Manchester.
