Full Job Description

An exciting new position has become available at the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a band 7 Research Sponsorship support manager.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the leadership and development of a small team of support staff facilitating home grown research in LUHFT.

We are looking for an enthusiastic manager with clinical research experience to develop our current portfolio of studies including CTIMP's and Device studies to PROM's development and tissue research.

The successful candidate will have experience of protocol development and delivery and be able to support all researchers from junior staff to senior professors. Experience in ethical and competent authority applications and grant submissions will be required. The Trust is part of the Liverpool Joint research office and it would be expected that this staff member would continue to attend those review meetings on behalf of the Trust.

The role will also support the trust research training programme and deputise the current research Governance manager as required.

The applicant will also be expected to undertake unblinded monitoring duties as required which may mean a requirement to travel. to other sites.
