Reinsurance Manager

This is an excellent job for an experienced accountant who understands reinsurance and wants to work as part of a high performing team.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of financial reporting and reinsurance-related operational processes, who has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise deliverables as well as motivate others to work to agreed timetables.
The role will be based in Norwich and the requirement is x3 days per week in the Norwich office.

A bit about the job:
The Reinsurance Finance Manager is responsible for the operational reinsurance processes and financial reporting of related reinsurance balances for both UKGI and IGI (including Solvency), ensuring timely delivery of quality data.
Specifically, you will be accountable for the delivery of BAU processes each month and reinsurance specific reporting requirements both internally and externally. You will provide guidance and direction to ensure that processes are followed in compliance with financial regulations and standards.
The role holder will have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be self-motivated and able to prioritise deliverables as well as motivate others to work to agreed timetables

• Strong understanding of technical accounting issues and financial reporting requirements.


• High attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Can confidently build and maintain effective business relationships with a range of stakeholders.


• Management of team's workflow and performance.


• Good understanding of the risk and control environment.

• Salary: up to £43,000 (location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
