Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable women who have experienced domestic abuse and have additional needs including substance abuse to start their recovery journey in our specialist accommodation to progress towards independent living free from trauma and addiction?

We are seeking a Recovery Refuge Domestic Abuse Practitioner to join our team to support our residents using a person centred and individualised multi agency approach to assist them to be safe, and eventually move on to a brighter future. Ideally you will have an in-depth knowledge and experience of domestic abuse and addiction and its impact on service users, and experience of working with victims who have experienced domestic abuse including strong casework management skills and good knowledge of trauma-informed care.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are committed to helping survivors to break the cycle of domestic abuse and support their recovery.

Standard hours are 37.5 per week on a shift basis including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are 9am-8pm, 9am-3pm and 2pm-8pm on a rota basis.
