Full Job Description

We are offering a developmental receptionist role to work towards a management role if desired. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, is happy to be coached and developed.

The main skill you need is to have great people skills. We are looking for someone who can smile even when the pressure's on, when the telephone is ringing and a customer is asking to make a payment at the same time.

This is not a position that requires supervision as you will be expected to work independently, although training will be given to ensure you're comfortable in your role. Don't worry, we're a team and we work together. We just want someone to take ownership and manage reception while we're in treatments.

Here's what you need to know:

  • It's a full time position (with optional term time working, optional 30 to 37.5 hours)

  • Available to start immediately

  • We're based in Risca.

  • We are located 3 steps off a bus stop!

  • You will be required to cover 1 to 2 Saturday clinics per month.


  • Here's what your role will involve, but is not exclusive to:
  • Cashing up

  • Making appointments

  • Responding to emails

  • Responding to Social Media messages

  • Processing potential client leads

  • Maintaining the clinic's 5 Star presentation

  • Assisting with opening and closing the clinic

  • Meeting and greeting clients

  • Coordinating practitioner clinics

  • Managing cancellations and waiting lists

  • Managing daily tasks

  • Making teas and coffees for clients

  • Accounting/ Book keeping tasks - training will be given

  • Comfortable at selling, as retail products are available. We're not asking for a hard sell (that's not our style), we simply want you to advise clients with a passion. (We'll make sure you can try things out first so you can talk from the heart).

    You must have a competent level of using Microsoft office - saving files, using word and excel so that you can update and create documents.
