Full Job Description

To provide technical management support, ensure clear and concise communication with customers, and conduct internal audits. Work with the team to achieve deadlines, deputising and supporting others within the technical team., To maintain the Quality Systems for the business unit / site. This will include reviewing and amending Quality documentation, Internal Audits, reviewing Industry legislation and Customer Requirements. Provide service and support to the technical leadership team. This work includes data entry, filing, information requests, data analysis for KPIs or complaints investigations, change management procedure and communicating to relevant parties.
- Support the allergen management system by updating and maintaining the allergen risk assessments with the introduction of new ingredients and products.
- To ensure the customer interface is managed professionally and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to customer audits and visits, leading in areas of expertise.
- To communicate relevant information into the site governance forums as needed.
- Conduct audits as part of the internal QMS.
- Manage the testing schedule to maintain the technical equipment onsite ensuring that they are compliant to legal requirement with regards to arranging calibration, repairs and replacements. As well as ordering consumable items required within the department.
- To organise analysis of finish product and raw materials as necessary to verify compliance to legal and customer requirements
- To trend actions and non-conformances and to report these into the relevant forums.
- Communicate to the Technical Leadership team any outstanding areas & additions to standards.
- Ensure compliance with all current relevant standards, COP and legislation
- Work with team to ensure all changes associated with launches, delists and promo activities are implemented to the operation teams and to the correct deadlines
- Be flexible and be involved in projects as requested
- Monitor working practices and comply with all legislation
- Immediately report hazards and see Health & Safety as a high priority

Food safety and Quality Management Systems knowledge and previously working in a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge and understanding of creating specifications and reviewing artwork, using customer online systems would be beneficial.
- Understanding of food labelling.
- Great communication skills, written and verbal English and attention to detail.
