Property Inspector

Home Safe s a Delivery Partner that specialises in supporting Local Authorities with the delivery of their Selective, Additional and HMO Licensing schemes.

We have an opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join our team, as a Property Inspector, responsible for conducting property inspections in a specific area of Peterborough.

As a property inspector your main duties will include:

• Using the project management software to organise and arrange inspections.


• Arranging the inspections with Licence Holders, their Agents or their Tenants.


• Liaising with our Compliance Management Team where inspections cannot be arranged to initiate and follow an agreed access management procedure.


• Using the IT software required to record inspections.


• Conducting property inspections using a template agreed with Peterborough City Council.


• Sending inspection reports to the Scheme Licence Holders upon completion of each inspection.


• Conduct compliance audits on properties that were inaccessible.
  
  HHSRS Qualified preferred, however training can be provided for the right candidates.


• Full drivers licence and own transport.


• Willingness to work from home (when arranging the inspections) as required.


• Willingness to work flexible hours (to accommodate tenants availability) as required.
