Project HSE Advisor II

Worley is looking for a Project HSE Advisor to join ur team on the Woodsmith Mine Project, Whitby, North Yorkshire.

The Project HSE Advisor II accomplishes this through effective risk identification and mitigation in work planning and permitting, effective oversite and assurance of contractor work performance, application of Safety Leadership principles, training and education of contractors on construction HSSE matters, and continuous monitoring of the job site where construction activities are taking place.

You'll be:

• Working with our Senior Advisor - HSE to provide support to various projects.


• Supporting continuous improvement of the strategic HSE project plans in alignment with corporate HSE management systems.


• Ensuring the assigned projects operate within WorleyParsons Corporate.


• Providing interpretation of appropriate OH&S legislation as it applies to the assigned projects.


• Providing support with the assigned projects incident management protocol inclusive of root cause analysis and identification of preventative measures.


• Supporting in tracking and reporting HSE performance metrics inclusive of both leading / lagging indicators and analyze trends on the basis of continuous improvement.


• Measuring and managing assigned projects HSE plans and performance through inspections to achieve targeted business output and improvement levels.


• Facilitating and supporting project HSE training and orientation requirements.
  
  HSE experience in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations is required.


• Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, and Training: Combined level of experience and training.


• HSE professional designation preferred; or working towards designation.


• IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of products.


• People Skills: Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills, including conflict resolution and leadership skills.


• Other: Proven experience HSE Advisory capacity.
