With hundreds of projects across the region and the need to deliver customer satisfaction within the water industry at the highest it has ever been, how we manage and execute projects has never been under as much scrutiny as now.

To ensure a dedicated and expert sole focus on delivery of projects and programmes of work which reduces or removes Operation Risk , we are looking for a number of experienced and talented Project Delivery Managers (PDM) to join us on our journey of delivery excellence!

What will you be doing as our new PDM?

Managing and overseeing the work of a team of Project Engineers, you'll be accountable for projects being delivered safely, on time, to budget and in-line with quality and environmental requirements.

Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously, you'll ensure milestone for projects are achieved and the Project Engineers are correctly utilised and optimised for maximum performance. Furthermore, you'll build strong and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders ensuring clarity, transparency and 'win-win' situations are achieved.,

  • Develop a high performing team where Project Engineers are clear on how their input contributes to overall business goals and a creative environment is established to support individual's career aspirations

  • Responsible for full project lifecycle from receipt of need through scoping, construction, project handover, formal sign off and managing any warranty issue that arise post-handover

  • Ensure compliance with Client Governance at job level is always achieved

  • Ensure all projects are correctly planned, costed and forecasted by working closely with Planners and Quantity Surveyors with cost variance mitigated and/or reported as appropriate

  • Accountable for carrying out the Principal Designer role under the CDM regulations.

  • Responsible for own teams' promoted solutions having appropriate Risk and Value principles applied together with TOTEX thinking to identify solutions that meet all stakeholder needs


  • A little bit about your skills, experience and behaviours….

    To join the IOS Alliance in our quest for industry- leading project management, you'll have proven technical experience in water / wastewater environments with strong knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM regulations. Demonstrating strong commercial acumen with an understanding of NEC Option C contracts, you'll be comfortable managing a range of stakeholders and able to relay information, formally and informally, to regularly update and manage relationships as required.

    With experience of managing teams, you'll lead by example on a daily basis, by demonstrating first- class communication skills. Able to lift out of the detail and work strategically as and when required, you'll showcase your driven and relentless nature whilst ensuring the customer is at the heart of all of activity.

The maintenance and refurbishment of the key infrastructure is managed by our partners Barhale, Kier and Morrisons Water Services they ensure everything is maintained and improvements made where necessary to ensure the infrastructures longevity and effectiveness.
