Full Job Description

  • Responsible for decisions made during duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate.

  • Assist with the delivery of key tasks to support project plans, as directed and raising any issues with delivery to the line manager.

  • Make and receive phone calls/Teams calls/emails, using initiative and judgment when handling enquiries, act and provide feedback as appropriate, ensuring that messages are relayed to the relevant lead and action is taken.

  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Shared Care Record Programme Teams/Sharepoint pages.

  • Plan and participate in relevant meetings, collating papers, reporting attendance, maintaining the attendance log, and recording appropriately.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day liaison with project workstream leads

  • Lead on delivery of discrete work packages.

  • Prepare concise and accurate update reports, documents, presentations, and materials using a range of Microsoft Office applications.

  • To be the custodian of all project information to ensure that a single source of the truth is maintained.

  • Work with the project manager to support and maintain project controls to oversee the coordination of issues, risks, decision logs.

  • Manage potential risk areas, working with risk owners and escalating as appropriate.

  • Maintain action logs and follow up actions.

  • Keep the project manager aware of the project status against plan.

  • Ensure an accurate asset register is maintained.

  • Manage professional relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and act as lead point of contact as appropriate.

  • Monitor and respond to the programme generic email account.

  • Project resource planning, including recording leave, ensure resource forecasts are prepared for the project and attend weekly team meetings.

  • Carry out timely and accurate information analysis and reporting requiring high levels of concentration on agreed areas of work and present findings in an agreed manner.

  • Supervision of less experienced and more junior team members

  • Support the implementation of new policies and procedures aligned with opportunities identified during the programmes lifecycle.

  • Contribute to the review and development of existing information management systems and contribute to the development of an integrated approach to project management.

    This post resides within the Digital and Data directorate who are responsible for ensuring that digital technology fully supports the integration of health and care services across the ICP- putting residents at the centre of their care. The Digital and Data directorate leads system-wide activities to transform the use of digital and data to support a modern and sustainable health and care system. The directorate brings together both local authority and health needs into a common single approach for the system, which is underpinned by organisational specific priorities.

    You will work as part of a small dynamic team with responsibility for delivery of a Shared Care Record across the ICS. The successful applicant will provide high quality project support to the project team and be actively involved in all stages of the delivery. The work will be varied and will be key to enabling transformation in digital services across Mid and South Essex. Excellent communication and organisational skills are a must and experience of supporting projects would be advantageous.
