Full Job Description
- Oversee and streamline production operations of facility two
- Implement continuous process improvements to enhance production quality and reduce costs
- Providing the information to the buyer to procure materials at placement of customer orders
- Liaising with the workshop managers on how the work will be sequenced to meet customer deadlines
- Manage intercompany workflow between facilities
- Maintaining health and safety at both manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
- Managing facility maintenance, plant maintenance and vehicle maintenance (six vehicles) and reporting on what improvements can be made to improve efficiency and associated costs involved
- Workshop resource management, arranging new hires and contract workers where and when required
- Ensuring quality is upheld in line with our accreditations and quality procedures
Good computer literacy - Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Proven background in manufacturing with a good understanding in manufacturing process
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Proficient in reading drawings
- Detail oriented with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Good customer communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Driving Licence
- IOSH or NEBOSH qualification
- Good general understanding of workshop and machinery maintenance
- Management: 3 years (required)
Desirable Skills:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in production/operations management in the manufacturing industry.,
