Procurement Manager - Highways (East)

We are looking for a Procurement Manager to join our infrastructure highways team for our Regional Delivery Framework in the East, delivering major projects on behalf of National Highways, including A428 and East Anglia schemes.

You'll:

• Implementation of project procurement strategy.


• Management of full tender process to achieve best value procurement solution.


• Undertaking procurement activity in accordance with both "Skanska operational procurement - The way of working" and our contractual requirements.


• Utilisation of qualitative procurement methods.


• Support and maintain collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers and contractors.


We're looking for:

• Management of project stakeholders to maintain and seek to improve upon procurement and construction programmes.


• To support the implementation of ERP on the scheme.


• Utilisation of digital procurement tools


• Experience of procurement and supply chain management
  
  Product knowledge of materials and plant and subcontracts


• Construction / Site based experience


• Working knowledge of Main Contract T&Cs including NEC


• Confidence to negotiate competitively and effectively.


• Competent in the use of 0365 software


• Awareness of digital procurement tools


• MCIPS or working toward
