Full Job Description

TPS is a key element of the children's services strategy to meet the authority's sufficiency duty in ensuring that homes for children, young people and adults provide stability, meet their individual needs, and help them to achieve their aspirations. If successful, you will be part of a diverse team, receiving regular supervision to aid your professional development along with a range of training opportunities., The post is varied and interesting providing specialist advice and support on a variety of home options, resolving some complex issues, collaborating with colleagues in children's social care and commissioning and managing liaison between key stakeholders. To be eligible for the post you will need to possess the following skills/experience

  • Highly motivated, excellent organisational, administration and communication skills and an eye for detail;

  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets, prioritise and plan your work effectively;

  • Good negotiation skills and high level of interpersonal and communication skills at all levels;

  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems including Excel, Word and Outlook;

  • Awareness of Data Protection and confidentiality issues.
