Full Job Description

This 16 hour per week permanent part time role, 2 days per week, is on a Thursday and Friday. As our administrator and receptionist you will:

Be responsible for all front of house physiotherapy reception tasks, including customer care, appointment and diary management, telephonic enquiries, minute taking and departmental stock ordering. You will be the person to manage the finances via the booking system and central credit and finance teams.

  • Experience and knowledge of excellent customer care skills and operational duties within a healthcare setting

  • Fluent English language and maths. An ability to organise one's workload whilst being flexible and able to cope with fluctuating demands of the team and customer

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, organisational excellence, good timekeeping and a high standard of IT computer systems

    The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
