Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Solicitor / Legal Executive / Litigation Executive (with at 3 years' experience) to join our Personal Injury Department in our Hull offices to manage a caseload of claimant fast-track value PI files mainly within the MOJ portal across differed claim types. You will be working as part of a friendly and ambitious team where everyone works closely to deliver the best result for our clients. The successful candidate will be an experienced fee earner with the ability to handle their own caseload and show commercial awareness.

  • Have experience of handling a caseload of MOJ portal and non-portal fast track personal injury claims including litigated work.


  • Have experience of and the ability handle the breadth of personal injury claims including RTA, EL, PL and OL.


  • Be commercially aware.


  • Be able to work with minimal supervision and ensure accurate time recording.


  • Have a high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a demanding environment.


  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to communicate accurately, clearly, and concisely, both verbally and in writing.


  • Excellent time management skills demonstrated by ability to organise and prioritise a complex workload and work to tight deadlines.


  • Be able to contribute to team business development and marketing activities.


  • Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.


  • Solid experience in using a variety of IT packages. Use of Proclaim, Case Management System, an advantage.


  • Experience in handling intermediate or higher value claims desirable but not essential to role., personal injury: 3 years (required)
