Full Job Description

  • Accompanying my son to his favourite activities, ensuring he feels comfortable and supported.

  • Providing guidance and assistance studying for the driving theory test

  • Engaging in meaningful conversations and activities that foster independence and personal growth.

  • Flexibility to adapt to my son's needs and preferences.


  • Additional requirements
    Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

    Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.

  • My happy son thrives on routine and enjoys pursuing his interests but can find crowds and noise overwhelming due to sensory overload. He is currently learning to drive, so assistance with the theory test would be greatly appreciated. Seeking someone who can provide support, encouragement, and companionship as he navigates his journey towards greater independence.

    Candidate qualities:

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
