Full Job Description

As a People Apprentice at South Cambridgeshire District Council you will provide an efficient and effective all round administrative support to the People Team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work within a busy team with the chance to get involved in a range of tasks which will support your progression into other roles.,

  • As a People Apprentice you will be using the Council's HR system to manage employees' data, as well as our electronic filing system to create electronic personnel files

  • Working with People, you will be required to respond to general queries face to face, by Teams, telephone and by email and ensure that all enquiries are passed on to the appropriate officer.

  • You will also be responsible for supporting the People team to organise training courses, assisting with financial processes, and other related administration duties.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Administrative skills, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths & English (Grade 4/C) Essential
