PDRA on the project 'Robot Experimentalist'

The Appointee will work on knowledge representation of laboratory equipment for bio-medical experiments and generation of experimental protocols. The Appointee will be primarily responsible for (a) developing 'digital labs' for the laboratory robotic systems Eve, AIRC, and RIKEN (from project partners), and (b) integration of digital labs to the scientific discovery workflow.

The Appointee will work in close collaboration with the Robot Scientist Team in Cambridge. The Appointee will also work closely with: the project's Japanese collaborators AIRC (Artificial Intelligence Research Centre), RIKEN (Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research); the Genesis project in Chalmers University of Technology, and the UK industrial research collaborator Arctoris.
