Full Job Description

To be the point of contact for patients for all issues relating to their pathway of care, both for inpatients and outpatients. The post holder will work as part of a multi- disciplinary team , under the direction of the Clinical Lead, and will provide expertise in the proactive management of the patient pathway from referral to discharge, ensuring the entire pathway is managed smoothly.

The post holder will ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction by being an accessible, customer focussed and knowledgeable point of contact. To provide a consistent approach across the Trust, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) will describe how the functions of this role will be carried out along with the timescales that will be adhered

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 experienced PPC in the Gynaecology Department at Whipps Cross Hospital. The post comes under the Womens & Childrens Division and is fulltime on a fixed term. We are looking to recruit an individual who is enthusiastic, well-motivated and can work on their own initiative. Typing speeds of 40 wpm are essential as well as experience working within a hospital setting. Good organisational and priority skills are also essential along with the ability to work under pressure. A good understanding of patient pathway RTT is desirable. The successful applicant should be committed to delivering excellent patient care for our patients and their families.
