Patient Adviser

Our Patient Advisors play a vital role in ensuring clinics run smoothly and patients are looked after. The role is varied and includes liaising with patients (answering calls and responding to emails), providing them with pre and post treatment advice, booking appointments (via SEMBLE platform) and taking payments. Efficient diary management is crucial however the most important task is ensuring patients feel reassured, confident and informed during their treatment journey with us., Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with healthcare providers

- Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality (SEMBLE)

- Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a professional and timely manner

- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes

- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed

- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents, This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional and caring environment. Quality and organisation are key to the ethos of the clinic and this role is very much to be 'part of the Team' as well as providing administrative support to healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and delivering quality patient care.

The Iron Clinic is looking for a friendly, caring and positive person with previous experience within a fast-paced administrative environment. You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and IT abilities. You will need to be highly organised, have a high level of attention to detail and be able to multi-task.

Consideration and empathy are crucial. You will be trained in all aspects of the role and will be expected to become a subject matter expert in "all things iron" to enable you to provide appropriate advice to patients. Sadly, Iron Deficiency is often overlooked and not well managed. The Iron Clinic was established in 2015 and remains the only professional private clinic to offer iron infusions on an outpatient basis. The clinic is led by Professor Toby Richards; a world leading expert in the treatment of iron therapy. The team is focused on improving awareness and care for patients with iron deficiency.
