Online Retail Assistant

Rat Race are looking for an Online Retail Assistant with a passion for adventure to assist in delivering excellent customer care and administrative support to our store.

Rat Race's kit range is designed to both aid our customers in achieving their goals and provide a memento of their awesome achievements on our events around the world. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and passionate about delivering first class service to our customers. As a small team it is imperative that the right candidate can work well independently, be adaptable and have a keen eye for detail.

The role will be based at our office in Thirsk where you will be working with our Store Manager to help develop and grow the Rat Race brand. Your main duties will include customer service support, picking, packing, stock management and attending our UK events throughout the year with a popup store.

Key tasks include

• Order processing, picking and packing.


• Responding to email enquiries.


• Daily warehouse operations and stock control.


• Assisting the Store Manager with other duties when required


• Occasional weekend work at our UK events throughout the year
  
  Good standard of English and maths - reading English is essential.


• Be able to work as a team and individually.


• Good level of IT knowledge, in particular Microsoft Office.


• Experience in a retail role is an advantage.


• Excellent organisation.


• Specific training will be given on retail systems and social media marketing. Previous experience with online retail is an advantage.
