Full Job Description

  • Answering the telephone, taking any messages and passing them on to the relevant person

  • General admin duties such as filing, photocopying, printing etc.

  • Using a range of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Word, Excel

  • Reviewing and archiving documents

  • Work on our online system assisting with staff and client monthly rotas

  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post

  • Ensuring data protection policies and procedures are followed and adhered to

  • Taking customer referrals and information

  • Taking meeting minutes from a recording

    Adka Independence is looking to take on an Office Apprentice to join their team. In this role, you will be supporting the wider team in the office completing general admin duties and using a range of Microsoft Office Packages.


  • The ideal candidates will be confident and pleasant on the phone, highly organised and have great numeracy and literacy skills.,
  • Good organisational skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Pleasant phone manner

  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as being a team player

  • Computer literate

  • GCSE maths and English

    The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship with the appointed provider, HBTC (www.hbtc.co.uk). An Apprenticeship allows you to acquire valuable skills and experience in your chosen sector, which improves your CV and employability when you've finished training. You'll learn in the work environment, developing the practical skills and understanding you need to excel in your role. This opportunity could also lead to permanent employment and progression opportunities.
