Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in our care. Your responsibilities will include supervising and engaging with children, implementing educational activities, and ensuring their well-being.
Duties:
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote child development
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime
- Assist with meal times, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits
- Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed
- Collaborate with parents to ensure open communication and address any concerns or questions
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children
Experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to drive the learning process by planning and implementing educational activities
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
- Leadership qualities to guide and support other staff members
- Proficient in English language,
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred), Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
