Night Shift Care Assistant

To undertake light domestic duties that can be performed during the night hours
To be appointed as 'person in charge' in the absence of senior staff overnight
To provide personal care as needed by residents overnight
Carry out regular checks of residents and intervals determined by the care provider and with due regard to resident privacy
Answer emergency calls, assess the situation and deal with a resident needing medical help if necessary
Carry out regular checks on the building with special reference to fire prevention
