Full Job Description

opening and locking up

- serving customers - advising customers on correct post office product for their needs

- all post office related duties

- general shop cleaning

- date checking - stock rotation and refilling.

Flexibility is crucial. The shop is open from 6am-6pm Monday to Saturday and 7am-12:30 on Sunday. Shifts will vary per week.

Optional overtime is available.

We are advertising multiple roles of 16 hours. We are able to be flexible regarding number of hours and availability, to an extent, for the right candidate.

MUST be over 18 due to selling tobacco and lottery.

You will need a clean criminal record for the Post Office DBS checks.

Must have prior experience and knowledge of the post office services or at minimum experience in a similar role (e.g. banking). Prior retail experience also crucial. This will NOT suit someone as a first job.,
