NCEL Perinatal Collaborative Senior Participation Lead | East London NHS Foundation Trust

Are you interested in leading a programme of service user engagement to support reducing inequalities and improving patient outcomes within perinatal services across North Central and East London (NCEL)? Do you have a passion for the delivery of efficient and high-quality perinatal inpatient services? Then we have a great opportunity to be part of our Perinatal Mental Health Provider Collaborative.

We are looking to recruit an inspiring and committed Senior People Participation Lead for the NCEL Perinatal Mental Health Provider Collaborative. This role would suit individuals with the ability to work proactively to build relationships with local service users, carers, families and community groups., This is a varied role, with no two days the same, and therefore you should be resourceful and adaptable to thrive in this environment. This will be a key leadership role and therefore being a strong communicator is a must.

You will bring lived experience and leadership around the participation of people who use perinatal services to the NCEL Perinatal Mental Health Provider Collaborative, led by ELFT, working alongside frontline clinical service staff and operational leads across NCEL CAMHS providers and partner organisations.

As the Senior People Participation Lead you will have a crucial role in embedding and creating new ways of involving our service users and carers across the NCEL Perinatal Mental Health Provider Collaborative. The role will work across all aspects of planning and delivery of perinatal mental health services to bring new insights and perspectives, in line with the transformation of perinatal mental health inpatient services across NCEL.
