Full Job Description
- Receive production schedules, cad package drawings, and work instructions from the design team and manage accuracy of the whiteboard.
- Interpret and organise information to complete bill of materials (BoM's) on EFACS MRP system.
- Convert BoM's into works orders.
- Generate picking lists for each work instruction and provide them to the stock control supervisor for efficient stock issuance.
- Issue works orders to production in the agreed format, including relevant barcodes for each part.
- Ensure timely procurement of all requirements for the production and installation team, maintain adequate stock levels as needed by both teams.
- Support the management of the purchase ledger accurately and within specified timescales. Liasing with finance when required.
- Negotiate value-for-money prices with both new and existing suppliers and fabricators.
- Cultivate relationships with the shop floor team to ensure purchased items meet quality standards.
- Assist production and installation supervisors with urgent requests while adhering to established procedures.
- Support the design team with a variety of elements including new protocols and processes.
- Undertake any other duties as appropriate to the purpose of the role as required by the organisation, where required training will be provided.
Excellent IT skills. - Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work across the business.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Full UK clean driving license with own transport.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of accounts payable
