Full Job Description

You will receive training and be required to: Carry out all tasks and jobs in our workshops. Working with machinery and people on a daily basis.

  • You will start at the bottom, as long as you show willing and eagerness you will progress quickly in the company and learn all aspects of fabrication and engineering.

  • You will work with a tradesman and learn from them on a day to day basis.

  • You will be operating our machinery, cutting,welding, bending, drilling etc.. you will also carry out training for working at height and confined space if needed.

    Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Standard


  • L3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge), Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Essential
    GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4/C) Essential, The role is a manual job so it includes a lot of heavy lifting and working in hot and cold environments. The work may require you working at height or in confined spaces . We are looking for someone who has 6 months to 1 year experience in Fabrication and Engineering.

You will be fully supported by our team throughout your Apprenticeship and you will become be a multiskilled tradesperson., We are a family run business with over 150 employees.     Overtime is encouraged during the week and weekends.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
    Minimum Wage Rates
  • Working week

  • Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm Friday 7:00am to 2:30pm, You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
