Join Newsquest Media Group as a Merchandiser in the Eastern Counties!

Location: Field-based, covering Huntingdon and Ely areas.

Role Overview:

As a Merchandiser, you will be instrumental in enhancing the retail sales performance of our newspapers and magazines. Your main task will involve making regular visits to key retailers within your assigned territory, ensuring optimal placement and visibility of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sales territory through frequent visits to retailers, adhering to a defined call cycle.
• Ensure all point of sale materials are current and effectively promoting key selling points.
• Monitor product availability and suggest supply adjustments to achieve at least 90% availability.
• Identify potential new retail outlets and communicate possibilities to the Retail Sales Manager.
• Collaborate closely with the Content team to capitalize on all sales opportunities.
• Support the Retail Sales Manager with various sales initiatives.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Dedication, fun, and the capacity to stay motivated and handle objections effectively.
