We have an exciting opportunity within our Domestics department who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Master's Lodge Manager.

About the role:

The Master's Lodge Manager role will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running and management of the private house and the operational management of the Master's events in the social areas, ensuring it runs efficiently and meets the Master's and his family's needs. The role is multifaceted, often encompassing a range of responsibilities from supervising trades and event catering, welcoming high-profile guests and ensuring the high expectations are met by all groups.

The Master's Lodge Manager is required to have a level of flexibility within a 30-hour week - 40 weeks per annum - which is generally Monday to Friday, however occasional weekend work may be required.

Key responsibilities (Including but not limited to; see job description for full requirements):

  • Build and maintain a high level of communication and co-operation with the Master's Executive Assistant and Domestic Services Manager.

  • Ensuring the privacy of the Lodge and the family is always respected, and a high level of discretion and professionalism is always demonstrated.

  • Ensure that the daily household activities are completed to specification including cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, daily bathroom cleaning, private rooms cleaning and periodic deep cleaning. This may also include on occasion overseeing additional resources providing support for these tasks.

    The successful incumbent must have:
  • Well-developed understanding of the English language.

  • Confidentiality, discretion & sensitivity.

  • Minimum of 2 years' track record of success in a similar role.

  • Flexible approach.
