Full Job Description

Kidney Cancer UK is seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to raise awareness, drive engagement, and support third-party fundraising events and developing fundraising initiatives and communications. This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to collaborate closely with senior members of the team and contribute to the long-term strategic direction of Kidney Cancer UK.,

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to promote Kidney Cancer UK's programs, services, and fundraising campaigns.

  • Manage all aspects of digital marketing, including website content, social media channels, email campaigns, and online advertising.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and infographics, to engage and inform our target audience.

  • Lead the planning and execution of marketing events, both virtual and in-person, to support community engagement and fundraising initiatives.

  • Analyse marketing performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

  • Cultivate relationships with external partners, including media outlets, influencers, and corporate sponsors, to expand Kidney Cancer UK's reach and visibility.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing and apply insights to optimize strategies and tactics.

  • Support the development of marketing materials, such as brochures, posters, and presentations, to enhance brand awareness and messaging consistency.

  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on marketing activities, achievements, and outcomes.

  • Represent Kidney Cancer UK at external events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the organisation's mission and initiatives.

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels.

  • Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media analytics).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and engaging audiences through innovative marketing strategies.

  • Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.

  • Experience working within the nonprofit or healthcare sector., Bachelor's (preferred)
