COMMUNITY CENTRE MANAGER


Strouden Park Community Association is a non-profit organisation that offers various services, activities, and meeting spaces to people of all ages in the Strouden Park area.

 

We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and organised Community Centre Manager to ensure the Community Centre remains a thriving and sustainable space for our users, hirers, and volunteers, both now and in the future.

The successful candidate will:

 

•        Be experienced in the voluntary sector or community development.

•        Have a professional attitude and approach to the management of the Centre.

•        Be confident, self-motivated, creative, and able to manage challenging situations.

•        Be self-reliant, energetic, and able to work independently to prioritise activities.

•        Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, use Facebook, and oversee website development.

•        Have excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

•        Have a Full UK driving licence.


The Important stuff:


Location: Strouden Park Community Centre, 31 Vanguard Rd, Bournemouth, BH8 9NU


Contract: Permanent, Part-time


Hours: Monday -Friday, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Extra hours may be needed during busy periods/weekends.


Salary: Basic salary £11,700
