Landscape and Garden Maintenance Apprentice MARK COTTINGHAM LANDSCAPES LTD

Outline of day-to-day duties. Bullet points required.

• Loading appropriate equipment and materials on to the van for the day.


• For garden maintenance, taking instruction from the team lead, assist in duties such as cutting lawns, border maintenance, pruning, clearing leaves etc


• For landscaping, taking instruction from the team lead, set up the site and be hands on in the construction of patios, low garden walls, fencing, decking and pergolas. You will also create borders, lay lawns and carryout planting.


• Assist in clearing up at the end of the job by leaf blowing the area, collecting the equipment and ensuring the garden is left to a high standard.


• Assist in unloading the van and putting the equipment away.
  
  Communication skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Physical fitness, Reliable, Work in all weathers, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 3-4 (D-C)) Essential, You must be able to arrive in Godstone for the start of work at 8am. You will be issued with a uniform but will need wet weather clothing such as waterproof trousers and coat and work boots. Must be reliable and willing to work in all weathers.
