FILM & SMART SURFACE SOLUTIONS (F&SSS)

We are Film & Smart Surface Solutions (F&SSS) and currently active in more than 50 countries. Our main production location is in the UK, with plans in place to realise a second production location in Asia. Our R&D and Technical centres are already in all three territories, Americas, Asia and Europe.

Our target for the F&SSS division is to become the market leader in the in-mold electronics space for the automotive industry. It capitalizes on emerging trends in human-machine interfaces, displays and in-mold electronics. The division combines our extensive offering of speciality films for the industrial and automotive industries with our developing portfolio of flexible and formable conductive and non-conductive inks. The combination of these products with our in-depth materials and process expertise enables our customers to create formed, structurally rigid three dimensional automotive controls and displays that are at the forefront of modern cockpit aesthetics and functionality. Job Purpose

To work closely with production (mixing, coating, and conversion) to ensure all products manufactured meet the highest standards of quality.

Job Responsibilities
-Provide information and analysis to the production teams regarding the quality of the product and process.
-To test and approve for use or sale, raw materials, mixed, coated and converted product as defined within the product specifications.
-Identify and report internal non-conformance events, to ensure the appropriate immediate action is taken e.g. product containment.
-Develop product tests and ensure best practice is applied and maintained.
-Track & analyse product and process performance trends.
-Review quality, customer and performance issues with the quality/ manufacturing teams and recommend improvements.
-Assist in production problem solving and customer complaint issues.
-To ensure all Health and Safety standards are maintained and any deviations reported immediately.

-Strong computer skills, experience of SAP an advantage
