Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant

Our established restaurant Bodega 18 Tapas bar is recruiting for a kitchen porter for our restaurant on Old bridge Street. Ideally we are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role, however this is not essential. The candidate will assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in our kitchen environment., Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Dispose of waste following proper procedures
- Help with basic food preparation tasks as needed, The shifts will be mostly evening week, predominantly at the weekend. As a member of the team you will receive a fair share of the cash tips daily.

Previous experience in a kitchen, hotel, restaurant, or culinary environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Hospitality and customer service skills are a plus
- Ability to work well in a team setting and follow instructions
