Kitchen Porter

Here at The Mole Resort, we have launched a brand-new resort set in acres of beautiful Devon countryside, jam-packed with delicious food and drink and a whole lot of exciting activities

Your role is to support the kitchen operations by cleaning equipment and areas, adhering to safety regulations and guidance. To provide a speedy and efficient support service to front of house areas making sure equipment is cleaned to a high standard and readily available.

What will I be doing?

As a Kitchen Porter at The Mole, you will perform tasks and follow instructions given to you by a Senior Chef, to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• To assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen.


• To maintain cleaning records


• To comply with Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH regs.


• To support the chefs on a daily basis in the collection of stock.


• To keep storage areas in a clean and hygienic manner, reducing wastage where possible.


• To undertake any training as required by your manager,


• To keep waste areas clean and tidy.


• Complete any training as required to carry out your role
