Full Job Description

As an IT Project Manager at KX, you will play a crucial role in leading the successful delivery of IT projects that drive business value and innovation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop project plans, and coordinate project activities to achieve project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering IT projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT projects, ensuring adherence to project management best practices and methodologies.


  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with key stakeholders.


  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, and track project progress against established milestones and timelines.


  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and disruptions.


  • Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external vendors, to ensure alignment and collaboration.


  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and resource utilization, and take corrective actions as needed to ensure projects remain within budget.


  • Communicate project status, updates, and risks to stakeholders, including project sponsors, steering committees, and executive leadership.


  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements documents, change requests, and project closure reports.


  • Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices to be applied to future projects.

    Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.


  • 5 years of experience in IT project management or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budget.


  • Strong project management skills, with experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


  • Experience with project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.


  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.


  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
