Full Job Description

We are now looking for an IT Logistics and Administration Officer to join our busy technology support team, on a part-time, permanent basis. As part of the University's central IT Services department, you will be processing requests for personal computing equipment (e.g., laptop and desktop PCs, tablets, Apple Macs, and accessories such as wireless keyboard and mouse sets, webcams etc.) and packaging them for dispatch to, or collection by, our staff. In addition to this, you will be receiving, shelving, and managing stock, ensuring it is organised and easy to locate, and providing general administrative assistance to the department, such as ensuring adequate supplies of stationery, arranging meetings etc.

You will work closely with the purchasing team and the technology support technicians to provide a high-quality efficient service. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential and prior experience of working with personal computing technology is an advantage.
