An exciting opportunity for you to work within the Councils IT Department providing 1st & 2nd line IT Helpdesk support to the council's IT user base and elected members.

You will be key in supporting the Helpdesk Team Leader, Senior Technical / Development & Cyber Security Officer & IT Technical Operations Manager delivering technical assistance to all customers across the council IT Infrastructure along with supporting IT project delivery on new and exciting challenges., Your completed application form will be vital during the recruitment process, both for shortlisting and at interview. We are looking for someone with knowledge & experience in supporting Windows based hardware and software along with experience within a network environment. You must have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with a keenness to learn new skills.

You will need good customer service skills, be able to work as part of a close team, with an attention to detail and able to prioritise a complex workload in a busy environment.
