Full Job Description
- Coordinate the short & long-term group strategic plans to raise the standards of health & safety at the site as directed by the health & safety manager.
- Collaborate with Managers and Supervisors to conduct regular hazard assessments across the site.
- Take proactive measures to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to minimise risks.
- Initiate controls and preventive measures to address identified hazards promptly.
- Ensure that all procedures are up to date and comply with relevant health and safety regulations, group standards and best practice.
- Coordinate and oversee effective site safety monitoring systems, including regular inspections and audits.
- Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are followed by employees and contractors.
- Provide support to the HR/training department with creating the health and safety information withing SOP's.
