Full Job Description
- To be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel at all time to high standards
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspect according to the standards
- Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Protect all equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies
- Check cleaning stock levels and make orders if required
- Ensure the laundry room is tidy and check linen stock
- Ensure all maids meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Observe and report damage of hotel property
Experience in cleaning and sanitising would be an advantage but not essential - Willingness to learn new cleaning methods
- Ability to adapt to different situations and change work processes
- Ability to take criticism and good listening skills to ensure high cleaning standards met at all time
- Good customer service skills and ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests
- Reliable and organised
