Full Job Description

WE ARE HIRING!

We are looking for a HGV Fitter or Trailer Fitter. The Right candidate must have previous experience within HGV/LGV repairs and must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out Inspection and Preparation of Equipment.

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs.

• Maintain, Repair and Service HGV Vehicles and Trailers.

• Repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary.

• Complete all Relevant Paperwork and Documentation on in house vehicle Maintenance System to required Standard.

• Pre MOT-Checks and Preparation.

• Follow H&S Rules and Requirements.

Skills Required:

• Class 1 Licence Preferable but not Essential.

• Strong Communication Skills.

• Willingness to take Instructions.

• Ability to Work on their own initiative.

• Problem Solving Attitude.

• NVQ Level 2/3 Heavy Vehicles preferable but not essential.

Successful Candidates must be able to work in a team and be open to learning new skills.

Payment: £20 per hour Depending on Experience.
