Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV fitter/technican to join our team. As a HGV fitter/technican, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all the fleet including trailers.
Responsibilities:
-Conducting PMI inspections on HGV lorries and trailers according to company and regulatory standards.
-Performing brake tests and pre-MOT inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety requirements.
-Documenting all maintenance and repair work accurately and maintaining records
-Ensure all lorries are checked and rectify vehicle defects
-To be motivated, willing to take the initiative and work independently when required.
HGV Technician able to demonstrate relevant qualifications, training and experience.
-IRTEC qualified or willing to undergo assessment.
-HGV fitter: 3 years preferred
-Full driving licence
-Experience of carrying out PMI, brake tests, pre-mot, breakdowns, repairs of HGV trucks and trailers.
Competitive pay depending on the experience £25-30per hour self employed.
