Turner Schools is offering an unique and exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, forward-thinking teacher to work in a well equipped and resourced Food & Cookery department at Folkestone Academy, Kent. This role will enable an ambitious and visionary leader to further develop an existing curriculum, which will inspire our pupils to engage in cookery learning, and prepare them for a range of careers in this field.
FA is an academic, non-selective school, with the highest expectations for what our pupils can achieve. We offer NCFE Food & Cookery in KS4, which is very successful with 4 classes in year 10 and 3 in year 11.
We are ideally looking for a candidate who has a degree in a relevant food qualification or a related area of study, and experience of working successfully in this field using creative thinking and problem-solving skills underpinned by expert knowledge.
