Full Job Description

Our clients are an independent Country Inn & hotel operator whoi recently opened this stunning hotel after a complete renovation of this iconic 100 room hotel in Lytham st Annes & are looking to recruit an innovative, creative, and passionate Head Chef to oversee the team of talented chefs in this refurbished kitchen serving the 120 cover restaurant.

Serving a casual gastro pub style menu in a relaxed setting, serving gastro classics, at a fast pace & you will be responsible for creating exciting new menus on a regular basis, using seasonal and local produce

The food offering includes a Full fish range, Modern burger menu, pizza oven and elevated gastro pub classics, alongside breakfast service for up to 20 pax daily

  • Be working as a head chef, or senior sous chef in a similar fresh food eld kitchen, be it hotel, busy restaurant or large gastro pub

  • Used to working in a fast paced high volume kitchen & developing talented kitchen teams

  • Be able to demonstrate drive and creative flair.

  • Experience in menu development & costings.

  • A good understanding of P&L accounts, stocks, compliance and KPI's

  • Self-driven and proven leadership skills

  • Experience in developing and training staff.

    Up to £46K salary

  • Tronk in addition to salary

  • 5 days over 7
