Our hotel, set against the stunning backdrop of South Beach, offers a tranquil retreat built within the ancient stone fortifications of Tenby. Whether you're dining in our Terrace Restaurant or unwinding in one of our Ocean View rooms, the sweeping cliff-top vistas of this idyllic seaside town will captivate you.

Imperial Hote, Tenby features 44 well-appointed guest rooms, the Head Chef with their team will provide a service to a bustling lounge, restaurant and functions.

We are currently seeking a talented Head Chef with a natural passion for food to run the kitchen.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hands on and team orientated with a natural passion for food and the dedication and ability to deliver the high standards that our guests expect and deserve.

Job Role:

To produce/prepare and coordinate the delivery of food within the hotel

To be responsible for the day to day running of the hotel kitchen

To be responsible for maintaining high levels of hygiene controls

To ensure the control of food stock and controls to achieve budgets

To ensure the development and training of the kitchen brigade

Our Head Chef will have passion and commitment to quality, ownership of the kitchen and the preparation & production of food and have the autonomy to create a vison to inspire the kitchen brigade.

To lead the kitchen in producing an exception food experience

To ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are adhered to., Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food production
- Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
- Plan and develop menus in collaboration with management
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

You will have a passion for quality and service, have exceptional organisational skills and be able to work using your own initiative.

This is an ideal role for someone with previous senior chef experience with an eye for detail & a passion for perfection., Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation
- Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative menu ideas
